Hi Guys! We are racing again this Sunday at Caraway Speedway, in the 100 Lap BK Auto Limited Late Model race. Last week we only got in about 15 laps there due to rain. Hopefully we’ll have clear skies and get to run all 100 laps in this special Sunday race. Hope to see you there!
Virginia Tech head baseball coach, Pete Hughes, is a friend of AB Motorsports. He instills in his team the importance of giving back, and each year the Hokie baseball players shave their heads to support and raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Childhood Cancer Foundation.
Between now and next Monday (10/8/12), we would LOVE Annabeth fans to contribute to this good cause. You don’t have to shave your head (!), but you can donate by clicking this link: http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/mypage/9105/2012 , then click the “Make A Donation” button, and follow the prompts. If you want to, you can put “Your Name + ABM” in the Recognition Information box, to let them know we are supporting them.
No donation is too small. As Coach Hughes tells his players, “To whom much is given, much is expected.” We are all truly blessed. To our almost 6,000 facebook fans, thank you for considering donating to this wonderful organization.

Last Saturday, we got rained out at Caraway, so no racing. We are testing the car this week, and hope to be back at it again in 2 days. We’ll keep you posted!

Hey everybody! I’m going to be racing tonight at Hickory Motor Speedway! We’ll be running in the 35 lap limited late model race. We qualify around 5pm, there’s a fan meet-and-greet around 6pm, and racing starts at 7pm. The Limited race we will be in is the 3rd race of the night.
The car was beat up bad, but my dad has been working like crazy to get her back in top shape. We’re feeling good. As always, great thanks to all my sponsors, especially Liberty Buick GMC and Oz’s Jewelers. And of course, thanks to my dad and mom.
Check out the track’s website at http://www.hickorymotorspeedway.com . We are looking forward to going back to Hickory. Hope to see you out there!
Hey everybody! My website was due for a little make-over, so welcome to the “new look” here at annabethbarnes.com! Keep in mind that we are still loading content onto the site (it’s still kind of under construction!) but we wanted to go ahead and launch the new look. We plan on offering up a lot of photos, video and racing news — plus, we will be offering new merchandise and giving away cool stuff from time to time — so we hope you visit us often, and invite your friends to visit too! I’m very excited about the new site AND I’m always grateful for the love and support I get from all you guys. Again, welcome to the new-and-improved annabethbarnes.com. Now let’s go racin!!!
Annabeth will be racing at Motor Mile Speedway in Fairlawn, VA (about 2 miles outside of Radford, VA) this Saturday, July 28, 2012. This is her third trip to Motor Mile. In her first race there, she qualified 12th and finished 7th. In the second race, a wreck in front of her took her out early. We are excited to go back to Motor Mile and hoping to have a strong night. We will practice/test Friday, and race Saturday, in the 50 Lap Limited Sportsman race. Gates open at 7:00pm, and we are the second race of the evening. We hope you can come out for a great night of racing! For more information, check out Motor Mile’s website at www.motormilespeedway.com
